Tomato and Cheese Cauliflower Bake

Cauliflower florets with a simple blend of ingredients, baked to perfection. Here’s my delicious Tomato and Cheese Cauliflower Bake recipe, a dish that’s great for the holidays especially if you’re looking for a filling, warm, and cheesy vegetarian option! Try it out for yourself with this easy guide!

Cauliflower the Great

Here’s a dish that’s perfect for a few great reasons.

One, if you’re looking to avoid too many carbs in a standard meaty, pasta filled bake.

Two, if you want more intake of vegetables, this dish is right up your alley!

Three, if you just need an easy side dish for your next dinner, switch your options around and add this to your meal for a new and exciting experience of texture and nutrients.

There’s so many great things you can do with cauliflower that can be incorporated into your favorite standard dishes. I honestly feel like cauliflower is taking over the world. It’s being substituted for so many different foods, some being cauliflower “steak”, cauliflower “pizza”, cauliflower “pasta”, and so much more!

What can’t this vegetable do? Personally, I am a fan, so no complaints here! Cauliflower is also packed with fiber and B vitamins, a yummy and beneficial combination for your body to fuel on!

Tips Before Starting This Cauliflower Bake Recipe

  • Buy bagged cauliflower florets over cauliflower heads for convenience and to save time.
  • Always go with what is more affordable for you. If buying a head of cauliflower is cheaper than a bag of florets, taking some time to cut it up might be more worth it in the end.
  • Choose the tomato base of your choice. Using canned tomatoes will give you a more liquid-y and light dish, while a pasta sauce will give you a bit of a heartier meal. Both are great, but it’s all about your personal preference to make a bake thats perfect to you!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cauliflower florets
