Rosemary Garlic Smashed Potatoes

No, not MASHED potatoes, these are SMASHED. Same concept, different taste, and less ingredients. My Rosemary Garlic Smashed Potatoes recipe takes out the butters and creams in a standard mashed potato recipe, but adds an amazing, browned crispiness and earthy, herby flavors from the garlic and rosemary!

Tips to a Perfect Smashed Potatoes

  • Buy baby potatoes! They’re smaller and will cook faster, plus, they’re delicious!
  • Use the bottom of a cup or a small plate to smash the potatoes rather than a fork. If you’re feeling a little stressed, feel free to use your fist instead, haha.
  • Use fresh rosemary if possible. Fresher flavors are always better!
  • I personally like to grate the garlic rather than mincing, because it releases more flavor and you’ll get the perfect smashed potatoes taste.
