Get ready to dive into your cravings! I’ve got a delicious seafood recipe for you. Welcome to my White Wine Shrimp with Spinach recipe! Like the title says, it’s creamy, garlicky, incorporates greens, and is cooked all together with dry white wine to heighten all the savory flavors! What could be a better description than that to motivate you for choosing your next meal?

What to Eat With This Delicious Shrimp Meal

This is also another one of my seafood recipes that’s super easy and quick, so you’ll be having a wholesome dinner for yourself or with others in no time! You can either eat this white wine shrimp on its own, or better yet, serve it with some carbs! I love to plate this over some pasta specifically, but you can also use potatoes or rice to create a deliciously balanced meal.

Let’s begin!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw large shrimp (cleaned, tail off)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
COMBINE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A BOWL
  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 oz fresh spinach

How to Make my Creamy, Garlicky, White Wine Shrimp with Spinach Recipe

Once your shrimp is seasoned in a bowl as directed in the ingredients list, heat up a large pan and add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about two minutes on each side!

Then remove your cooked shrimp from the pan and into another bowl and set aside for later.

In the same pan, add butter to melt, then add your garlic and cook for a few minutes until fragrant.

Here’s a tip, to get more flavor out of your meal, you’ll want to make sure to scrape off anything left from the shrimp!

Afterwards, add in a dry white wine you’ve chosen and simmer on low together with the garlic for about 5 minutes.

Then add in the heavy cream and salt, continuing to simmer for about 10 minutes. You should notice the sauce thickening during this time!

Finally, add in your spinach as well as the cooked shrimp. Mix together until well combined and there you are! Add more salt if needed, and like I pointed out earlier, feel free to include some pasta, potatoes or rice, and give yourself a delicious treat to this fine meal!
